Sexual Dimorphism | Males have a short orange stripe around the middle of the body, and red spotted eyelids. Females are mostly brown and have more homogeneous scalation and smaller casques. Males also feature hemipenal bulging. |

Description | This chameleon has a high casque with no occipital lobes. Its gular crest consists of small hanging skin flaps covered with granular scales. They have heterogeneous squamation, and there are large lenticular scales scattered on the limbs, flank, tail, and abdomen. Colors expressed are yellow, gray, brown, black, and green. A dark stripe runs from the mouth to the tail. Head crests are yellow, and the interstitial skin on the throat is white. |
